Private Parties

Reserving the Meridian Pool for a Private Party includes the following areas for use: Big pool, Kiddie pool, Locker rooms, Pool deck. 

Anyone 13 years old and younger must take a swim test PRIOR to entering the water. Those who do not wish to swim in the deep end, use the diving boards, or slides will still need to receive a red wristband, so that our staff knows which areas they are allowed into. 

ALL pool rules enforced during Open Swim are enforced during Private Parties. We reserve the right to remove anyone who is not willing to follow our rules and respect our staff / facility. 

No food allowed within pool facility (building, locker rooms, deck, pool, etc. We are happy to allow you and your guests to come in and out of the facility so that they may eat elsewhere (in the park, etc.). 

If you are simultaneously renting out a shelter in Storey Park, and your reservation includes alcohol, we reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who appears to be intoxicated or exhibiting aggressive, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior. We do not tolerate any of the beforementioned behavior and will remove those who do. 

Pricing:

Full payment is due at time of booking. Rates are reflective of how many people will be in attendance. Idaho sales tax has been included in rates. 

• 1-50 people: $165.00
• 50-100 people: $220.00
• 100-150 people: $330.00

Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling 

• To be eligible for a refund, reschedule, or modification of a reservation, the reserving party must contact Meridian Pool by 5:00 p.m. MST 1 week (7 days), prior to the reservation date. The day of the reservation is not included in the 1 week (7 days). 
• An approved refund will incur a $5 transaction fee.
• No modifications or cancellations to a reservation or refund to the customer will be allowed if the request is not timely received, as described above.

Inclement weather 

• Full refunds (minus the $5 transaction fee) will be offered to the reserving party if they contact the Meridian Pool 1 hour prior to the reservation, with concerns of severe, or inclement weather, and cannot reschedule the existing reservation. 
• Pro-rated refunds (minus the $5 transaction fee) will be offered to those who have utilized their reservation for more than 60 minutes (1 hour), prior to lightning being spotted by Pool staff, and having to exit the water for thirty minutes per strike spotted.
• Full refunds (minus $5 transaction fee) will be offered to those who have utilized their reservation for less than 60 minutes (1 hour) prior to lightning being spotted by Pool staff and having to exit the water for 30 minutes per lightning strike spotted by Pool staff.

Beginning the week of June 8th, we will be offering Private Parties on select Fridays and Saturdays. This webpage will continuously be updated as reservations are placed / dates become unavailable. Please see available dates listed below:

• Friday, July 3rd (7:30pm - 9:00pm)
• Saturday, July 11th (11am - 12:30pm, 5:30pm - 7:00pm)
• Friday, July 17th (7:30pm - 9:00pm)
• Saturday, July 18th (11am - 12:30pm, 5:30pm - 7:00pm)
• Friday, July 24th (7:30pm - 9:00pm)
• Saturday, July 25th (11am - 12:30pm)
• Friday, July 31st (7:30pm - 9:00pm)
• Saturday, August 1st (11am - 12:30pm, 5:30pm - 7:00pm)

Duration: 

All Private parties are scheduled for 1.5 hours (90 minutes), at the times listed below.

How to make a reservation

• Submitted requests are merely requests. Booking will not be finalized until we contact you, and payment has been received.
• Please understand that with the limited number of reservable dates/times, reservations will be given on a first come first serve basis and will likely fill quickly.
• Those who contact the Meridian Pool, or the Meridian Parks and Recreation Department via phone/ walk in, will not be given first priority. Emailed inquiry must be submitted for consideration.
• We will not be utilizing a waitlist for any potential cancellations. 
• We will be in contact to confirm booking and receive payment from those who have submitted an online form within a few business days. If you do not hear back from us within 1 week of submitting your request, we have likely already filled that spot.
