The Meridian Del Drake Senior Wood Bat League is for men 60 years and older who are interested in playing softball in a wood bat league.

Registration Process and Fees

To register for a league; complete a current registration waiver form, and pay player fee, prior to the registration deadline. Must be 60 years old by December 31, 2026.

 

Player fees

Player fee per league. Current fees as of 11/2023.

  • Monday Night at Bear Creek - $75
  • Tuesday Morning at Settlers Park - $75
  • Thursday Morning at Settlers Park - $75
  • Fall Classic Wood Bat Tuesday & Thursday Morning at Settlers Park - $45

2026 Senior Softball League

  • Registration Deadline: Tuesday, March 10th, 2026 (After the deadline call about open spots in the league.)
  • Regular Season: Week of April 13th
  • End of Season Tournament: After the completion of regular season games to be held on a Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Settlers Park (subject to change)

 

2026 Fall Classic Senior League

  • Registration Deadline: Tuesday, July 14th, 2026 (After the deadline call about open spots in the league.)
  • Regular Season: Week of September 29, 2026
  • League Details: Tuesdays & Thursdays at Settler, ~10 games (late Sept–October) and includes team hat.

 

Ways to Register

To register first complete the current registration and waiver form. Once, paperwork is completed follow the below steps to complete the secure your spot in league.

  • Online - Email in your registration form to [email protected] then go online to pay. 
  • Walk-In - Come into our office during business hours at 33 E. Broadway Ave., Suite 206 with completed registration waiver form and pay in person with cash, check, or credit card. 
  • Mail-In - Mail your completed registration waiver form with payment to 33 E. Broadway Ave., Suite 206, Meridian, ID 83642. (Must be received by the deadline and have available spots in the league.)

Must be received by the deadline and still have available spots open. *Sponsorship payments must be in by the deadline with current completed registration form, and player fees.

League Format

2026 Draft Leagues

  • Monday Night - Committee Draft
  • Tuesday Morning - Committee Draft
  • Thursday Morning - Manager Draft

Game play days

Games are played:

  • Monday nights at Bear Creek Park
    • First game starts about 5 p.m.
  • Tuesday Morning at Settlers Park
    • First game starts at 9 a.m.
  • Thursday Mornings at Settlers Park
    • First game starts at 9 a.m.

League Formats

  • League: ~20 regular season games (weather permitting) (Starts the week of April 13th - end of September) Championship games playoff end of September/beginning of October on a Saturday.
  • Senior Softball League is officiated by volunteer umpires.

 

  • Fall Classic League: ~10 regular season games (weather permitting) (Starts the week of September 28 - end of October)
