The Engineering Division often works collaboratively with other stakeholders in completing infrastructure projects that improve the quality of life for the citizens of Meridian.

City Projects

Many City utility projects are constructed in conjunction with Ada County Highway District (ACHD) or Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) road projects saving Meridian taxpayers money and reducing the impact to traffic flow.

Street Lights

The City maintains most street lights within the City of Meridian. Decorative lights in subdivisions are maintained by the homeowner’s associations. Lights in private parking lots are not maintained by the City, as they are maintained by the property owner or business.
