NOTICE REGARDING SHELTER RESERVATIONS

On Tuesday, February 1 at 8 a.m. we will begin accepting picnic shelter reservations for the 2022 season which will run from April through the middle of October. Reservations can be made online at any time by visiting the link “Reserve a Park Facility” on this website or by calling the Meridian Parks and Recreation office at 208-888-3579 during standard business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm). The health and well-being of our community is our top priority. With that in mind, we will be monitoring local agency orders, including those of the State of Idaho and Central District Health, regarding group gathering size limitations and other restrictions needed to keep our community safe from COVID-19. Your reservation MAY BE IMPACTED by health and safety orders and protocols in place for our community on the date of your reservation, and your reservation will be cancelled or rescheduled if necessary to comply. Refunds will be available for reservations that are cancelled due to COVID-19-related orders or protocols.

The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department’s mission is to enhance the community’s quality of life by providing innovatively designed parks, connected pathways, and diverse recreational opportunities for all citizens.

The Meridian Parks & Recreation Department’s administrative offices are located on the 2nd floor of Meridian City Hall. We also have a maintenance facility located at 1700 E. Lanark, off Locust Grove Road between Pine Street and Franklin Road.
