How do I reserve a shelter in one of the parks?
Park shelter reservations begin February 1 every year. You can reserve a shelter over the phone with a credit card by calling (208) 888-3579 or with a check or cash at our office, located at Meridian City Hall, Suite 206, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642. Our offices are open Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
If I have reserved a shelter between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., can I remain at the shelter after my time block has expired?
Parties are required to start clearing the shelter 10-15 minutes prior to the 2:00 p.m. deadline so that they are completely out of the shelter by 2:00 p.m. Between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the Parks maintenance crew utilize this time to clean the shelter and prepare it for the next reservation at 4:00 p.m.
How do I reserve the Meridian Community Pool or sign up for swim lessons?
The Meridian Community Pool is managed by the Western Ada Recreation District (WARD). You can contact the pool at (208) 888-3267. For pool information during the off-season, you can call WARD’s office phone number at (208) 888-4058.
