Program Description:
The City of Meridian Wastewater Division is compromised of several sections working toward the common goal of meeting NPDES permit requirements as mandated by the Clean Water Act.
Meridian’s Wastewater Laboratory provides analytical support for State/Federal permit compliance as prescribed in 40 CFR 136: Guidelines Establishing Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants. Permit data is maintained in both hard copy and digital form, with accuracy and defensibility the perpetual goal. Support is provided to Operations to assist in process control.
