Water Meter Information
Frequency: All water meters are read monthly and usage is rounded down to the nearest 1,000 gallons
Technique: All meters are read electronically.
Radio Read: All commercial and residential water meters are read by use of “Radio Read” technology. A small radio transmitter is mounted inside the meter pits and allows the meters to be read from a moving vehicle equipped with a synchronized laptop, saving the City significantly on time and labor costs.
