The Meridian Firefighter’s Association sponsors an annual Salmon BBQ the first Friday of August. Your ticket gets you Applewood smoked salmon, coleslaw, fries, soda, and bread. All proceeds go to the Meridian Fire Fighters Association and the Meridian Burn Out Fund. The Burn-Out Fund provides emergency assistance to families and individuals who are impacted by fire and other disasters. The Burn-Out Fund has provided relief to many Meridian residents. Our aim is to respond immediately and assist disaster victims with resources for their urgent shelter, food and clothing needs.
